Victor Valdes’s wife has slammed Manchester United after Louis van Gaal’s latest snub.

The Spain international has been out-of-favour at Old Trafford since the start of the season after the experience shot stopper fell out with United manager Louis van Gaal.

The 33-year-old shot stopper has been forced to train away from the United first-team as the three-time Champions League winner continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool and Newcastle United.

The United squad were in celebratory mood on Sunday night as the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin, David De Gea and Marcos Rojo posed with their significant other halves.

And Valdes’s wife, Yolanda Cardona, has criticised the Red Devils for failing to extend an invite to the former Barcelona goalkeeper.

Cardona wrote: “Do not invite to my husband @vicvaldes1 to be part of the #united4unicef, it’s the last thing you don’t expect from one of the biggest club as @manchesterunited “A Charity event, its always a Charity event”

The three-time Champions League winner has made just two appearances in the Premier League since the goalkeeper’s move to United last January.

Valdes broke into the Barcelona first-team under Van Gaal and enjoyed a 10-year career at Camp Nou.
