Wayne Rooney has taken to social media to warn Manchester United that nothing less than three points will do when the Red Devils host West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to return to winning ways in the top flight after their goalless draw with Crystal Palace last weekend.

Rooney headed home a late winner to hand United a 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League at Old Trafford in midweek.

And the United captain looks to be in a confident mood heading into Saturday’s clash, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.

Rooney posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “A good week of training done and a victory in the Champions League. We’ll be looking for another 3 points tomorrow against West Brom at Old Trafford ⚽️

United head into Saturday’s game in fourth place in the Premier League table and four points behind leaders and local rivals Manchester City after 11 matches of the new campaign.
