Ander Herrera has taken to social media to give an insight into how he spent the day after Manchester United’s 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford.

The Spanish midfielder was a late substitute as Louis van Gaal’s men secured a Champions League victory thanks to Wayne Rooney’s late winner and took a big step towards qualification for the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition.

Herrera looked to be enjoying himself during an Adidas photo shoot and various interviews as he fulfilled a number of his obligations away from the pitch.

The 26-year-old posted the series of pictures above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Happy for yesterday’s win and being leaders of the group. Today, comercial activities @manchesterunited.”

Herrera has been a regular fixture in the Red Devils’ first team this season and has scored two goals and made one assist in seven Premier League outings for Van Gaal’s men.

The Spaniard will be hoping to feature when United return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
