Mesut Ozil and his girlfriend Mandy Capristo looked loved up as they attended an awards ceremony in Berlin on Thursday night

Mesut Ozil looked to be in good spirits as he publicly announced that he is back in a relationship with singer Mandy Capristo on Thursday evening.

The couple held hands and looked relaxed as they posed for pictures on the red carpet ahead of the Bambi Awards 2015 at Stage Theater in Berlin.

Ozil had previously used his Instagram account to upload a selfie of the duo to confirm that the pair are dating again after allegedly splitting up late last year.
