Wayne Rooney joined his England colleagues as Roy Hodgson’s men observed a minute’s silence in training on Monday morning.

Rooney and his team-mates are gearing up for their friendly clash with France at Wembley on Tuesday night as they look to return to winning ways following their defeat by Spain on Friday.

The likes of Harry Kane and Ross Barkley were involved in the training session on Monday as Hodgson’s squad paid their respects to victims and their families after Friday’s terror attacks in Paris left more than 130 people dead.

Here are some of the best pictures from Monday morning’s England training session.
