Piers Morgan insists that he has no problem with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on a personal level
Piers Morgan has insisted that he “likes” Arsene Wenger on a personal level, despite his constant criticism of the Arsenal manager.
The former Daily Mirror editor has never been one to hold back in his criticism of the Gunners boss and has repeatedly called for the north London club to replace Wenger on Twitter.
Morgan, who is an Arsenal shareholder, wanted to see Jurgen Klopp replace Wenger at Emirates Stadium before the German coach was appointed as Liverpool manager last month.
However, despite his frustrations at Wenger’s failure to lead Arsenal to a Premier League title since 2004, Morgan insists that he is a fan of the Frenchman on a personal level.
In response to a tweet, celebrity fan Morgan said:
@piersmorgan I think you should be honest and tell the world what Wenger has done to you personally I just don't get you sometimes

Arsenal turn their attentions back to the Champions League on Wednesday night when they travel to Bayern Munich looking to build on their 2-0 win over the Bundesliga side last month.
