Piers Morgan laments Liverpool appointment after Arsenal loss
Piers Morgan cannot hide his frustration after Liverpool thrash Manchester City following Arsenal's loss to West Brom
Piers Morgan could not hide his frustration after Liverpool secured a thumping 4-1 win over Manchester City in the wake of Arsenal’s loss to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Eliaquim Mangala’s own goal and strikes from Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Martin Skrtel handed Jurgen Klopp’s men another impressive away win after their 3-1 triumph at Chelsea last month.
Klopp was touted as a potential candidate to take over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal before he was appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor at Liverpool following the Northern Irishman’s sacking in October.
Celebrity Arsenal fan and shareholder Morgan used his personal Twitter account to express his dismay at seeing Klopp’s impact at Liverpool after the Gunners slumped to a defeat at The Hawthorns.
Morgan tweeted on Saturday evening:
Klopp hasn't bought a single player yet & he's already transformed Liverpool. Arsenal will regret not hiring him for the next decade.

Arsenal took the lead through Olivier Giroud in the 28th minute against the Baggies, but James Morrison equalised shortly after to haul Tony Pulis’ men level.
Mikel Arteta then scored an own goal before being subbed off with a calf injury.
Arsenal pressed for an equaliser and were awarded a penalty late on after Alexis Sanchez was brought down in the box.
However, Santi Cazorla blazed the resulting spot-kick over the crossbar after he slipped during the run-up.
