Piers Morgan has taken to social media to urge Arsene Wenger to try to sign Jamie Vardy for Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The Leicester City striker has been in sensational form so far this season and continued his fine run against Manchester United on Saturday evening.

The 28-year-old netted the opener against the Red Devils at the King Power Stadium to put his side ahead in the first half of the Premier League clash.

In doing so, Vardy set a new Premier League record of scoring in 11 successive top-flight games, beating Ruud van Nistelrooy’s previous tally of ten.

Celebrity Arsenal fan and shareholder Morgan feels that Vardy could be the man to inspire the Gunners to the title this season.
