Richard Keys: Arsenal still favourites to win Premier League title

Richard Keys criticises Arsenal for failing to move to the top of the table

Arsenal are still favourites to win the Premier League title, according to Richard Keys.

The Gunners failed to seize their chance to move to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon after a 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

Arsene Wenger’s side appeared set to secure three points after France international Olivier Giroud gave the visitors a first-half lead.

However, James Morrison equalised before Mikel Arteta’s won goal handed the Baggies three points and relegated the Gunners to fourth place in the Premier League table.

However, former Sky Sports presenter Keys believes the Gunners will win the Premier League despite their setback at West Brom.

“Arsenal shouldn’t have lost – but how typical of them. What a missed chance to go clear at the top,” Keys wrote on his website.

“I’m still on them to win the title though.”

Arsenal were unbeaten in six Premier League games ahead of their trip to the Baggies on Saturday evening.
