Daniel Sturridge has taken to social media to post a positive message as the Liverpool striker continues his recovery from his latest injury.

The forward, who missed much of last season with a hip problem and underwent surgery in the summer, is currently out of action with a knee complaint.

The 25-year-old England international has not featured for Liverpool since the 1-1 Merseyside derby draw with Everton at the start of October.

However, the striker seems to be keeping himself in a positive spirit, even if others around him are not.

Sturridge shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday evening and wrote: “Simple…”

Former Chelsea striker Sturridge has scored two goals in three Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far this season.

Liverpool slumped to a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace in Sturridge’s absence at Anfield on Sunday afternoon as they suffered their first defeat under new manager Jurgen Klopp.
