Luke Shaw is clearly making a speedy recovery from his horrific broken leg suffered back in September, after the Manchester United left-back was pictured walking without crutches at the Red Devils’ Christmas party on Wednesday night.

The former Southampton starlet has been sidelined since suffering the horror double fracture of his leg during the 2-1 Champions League defeat by PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

Shaw turned up for the Red Devils’ early Christmas bash without crutches or a protective boot the day after United’s 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

The pictures show Shaw strolling through Manchester’s city centre on Wednesday night and looking in good spirits.

Shaw posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Nice to be walking without crutches last night 😀”

Shaw’s United team-mates are set to turn their attentions back to the Premier League on Saturday afternoon when they host West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford.

United head into the game in fourth place in the Premier League table and four points behind leaders Manchester City after 11 games.
