Ferdinand, Farah and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal draw with Norwich

Rio Ferdinand and Mo Farah both tweet their thoughts as Arsenal are held to a 1-1 draw by Norwich City at Carrow Road

Arsenal missed the chance to move up to second place in the Premier League table after the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw by Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners looked to be heading to a victory at Carrow Road when Mesut Ozil’s neat chipped finish put the visitors ahead in the 30th minute against the Canaries.

However, Norwich battled back and drew level two minutes before half-time when Lewis Grabban held off the challenge of Gabriel Paulista to fire past Petr Cech.

The draw was made worse for Arsenal after Alexis Sanchez was forced off with a suspected hamstring injury midway through the second half.

The result left Arsene Wenger’s men in fourth place in the Premier League table and three points behind leaders Manchester City as the hectic festive period looms large.

The game prompted plenty of activity on social media – and here are some of our favourite updates.
