Kieran Gibbs came off the bench to score a 77th minute equaliser and earn Arsenal a draw in Sunday’s north London derby clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham dominated much of the game at Emirates Stadium and Harry Kane fired the visitors in front in the 32nd minute with a cool finish past Petr Cech.

Arsenal appeared to be struggling with fatigue throughout the game but continued to battle hard against their bitter local rivals.

And Gibbs came off the bench to bundle home Mesut Ozil’s cross to earn Arsene Wenger’s side a point.

The result left the Gunners level on points with leaders Manchester City at the top of the table after the Citizens drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace.

The result prompted plenty of activity on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite updates.
