Jordon Ibe scored his first goal for Liverpool to give themselves hope of reaching the last 32 of the Europa League with a 1-0 victory at Rubin Kazan on Thursday night.

Jurgen Klopp’s men headed into the clash high on confidence on the back of their 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend and the Reds dominated possession throughout the encounter.

The deserved winner came when Ibe fired home from 20 yards in the 52nd minute to hand the Merseyside outfit a victory which moved them second of their group.
