Watch: Thibaut Courtois hands Chelsea another boost ahead of Stoke trip
Thibaut Courtois is closing in on a return to action for Chelsea as he steps up his rehabilitation and declares, "I'm feeling great!"
Thibaut Courtois has handed Chelsea another boost as the goalkeeper closes in on a return to first-team action with the west London club.
The Belgium international has been sidelined since the start of the season after undergoing knee surgery back in September.
Courtois was originally ruled out for a period of around three months, and the shot-stopper appears to be closing in on a return to action in the next few weeks to hand the Blues a major boost ahead of the hectic festive schedule.
He uploaded the video above onto his Facebook page of himself looking sharp as he stepped up his rehabilitation exercises at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Thursday afternoon.
Courtois wrote: “Footage of my rehabilitation with some shooting and movement exercises. I’m feeling great! #CFC #ComeBackStronger”
Chelsea, who sealed a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League on Wednesday night, return to Premier League action with a trip to Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Blues are currently 15th in the table and 14 points behind leaders Manchester City.
