Aaron Ramsey sends message to Arsenal fans on Twitter after Southampton loss
Aaron Ramsey endured a birthday to forget after Arsenal's 4-0 loss at Southampton on Boxing Day
Aaron Ramsey took to social media on Sunday to thank his fans for their birthday messages and issue a rallying cry ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Monday night.
Ramsey played the full 90 minutes as Arsene Wenger’s men spectacularly squandered the chance to move to the top of the Premier League table when they were thrashed 4-0 by Southampton on Boxing Day.
Arsenal had been tipped by many to be the favourites to win the Premier League title this season in the wake of their 2-1 win over Manchester City last week.
And Ramsey, who turned 25 on Boxing Day, admits that the north London side are desperate to return to winning ways against Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium on Monday.
Ramsey tweeted on Sunday:
Thanks for all the birthday messages, gutted about yesterday but got to get ready for a big game tomorrow
