Alexis Sanchez has taken to social media to invite tennis star Andy Murray to come and watch an Arsenal game at Emirates Stadium, before his team-mates slumped to a humiliating 4-0 loss to Southampton on Saturday evening.
Sanchez is currently out injured with a hamstring problem and is not due to return back to action for the north London side until the new year.
However, the Chilean was clearly happy to see former Wimbledon and US Open champion Murray don an Arsenal shirt featuring Sanchez’s name with his brother Jamie on Christmas Day.
Jamie Murray shared the picture above on his personal Twitter account on Christmas Day, featuring him in a Manchester United shirt and Andy in an Arsenal kit.
And Sanchez extended an invitation for Murray to come and watch him and his Arsenal team-mates in action at The Emirates in his personal box.
Sanchez tweeted on Saturday evening:
Hey @andy_murray!!! Great to see you with my shirt!!!. When are you coming to my box at the Emirates?
