Ander Herrera concerned about his future at Man United – report

Ander Herrera is worried about his future at Manchester United, according to reports in the British media

Ander Herrera will seek talks about his future with Manchester United because he is concerned about his place in the team, according to reports.

Herrera has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Red Devils’ first team since arriving at the club from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2014.

The Spaniard missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Leicester City due to injury and has been limited to just nine Premier League appearances so far this season.

The 26-year-old midfielder has made a total of just 32 appearances for the Red Devils since his transfer to the club last year.

And the Daily Star reports that Herrera wants reassurances about his position at the club after apparently becoming concerned about his lack of playing time.

The Spaniard is under contract at Old Trafford until 2018.

Herrera will be hoping to be fit when Manchester United return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
