Andy Gray states his prediction for Arsenal v Man City
Andy Gray is tipping a four-goal thriller between Arsenal and Man City
Andy Gray is tipping Arsenal and Manchester City to play out a four-goal thriller at The Emirates on Monday night.
The Gunners host the Citizens in a top-of-the-table clash in north London as Arsene Wenger’s men look to keep pace with surprise pace-setters Leicester City.
We’re going to get a very open game, a real shootout
Arsenal are unbeaten at home since a 2-0 defeat by West Ham United in their opening game of the Premier League season.
The Citizens, meanwhile, have only collected 11 points from their seven Premier League games on the road this term.
Former Aston Villa and Everton forward Gray believes Arsenal and City will play out a high-scoring draw at Emirates Stadium.
“This game could define both of these sides’ season,” Gray told Paddy Power.
“We’re going to get a very open game, a real shootout. I’m gonna go for a high scoring draw. Sergio Aguero is back, and he’s a massive player to have back for a big game.
“He’s up against the form striker in Olivier Giroud, what a season he is having.”
The north London side are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Manuel Pellegrini’s side, winning 2-0 at The Etihad in January.
The Citizens haven’t beaten Arsenal since the Eastlands outfit were 6-3 winners against Wenger’s side at home in December 2013.
Arsenal are two points behind leaders Leicester, whilst City are a further point adrift of the FA Cup holders.
