Arsenal fan Piers Morgan expresses dismay at Liverpool appointment

Piers Morgan is not happy about Jurgen Klopp's start at Liverpool...

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to express his dismay at seeing Jurgen Klopp make a positive start to his spell in charge of Liverpool.

The charismatic German coach was touted as a potential candidate to take over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal before he was appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor at Liverpool following the Northern Irishman’s sacking in October.

Klopp watched his Liverpool side secure a thumping 6-1 victory over Southampton on Wednesday night as the Reds booked their place in the semi-finals of the League Cup in style.

Celebrity Arsenal Morgan has long been calling for the Gunners to replace manager Wenger, despite the north Londoners winning back to back FA Cups in recent seasons.

And the former Daily Mirror editor used his personal Instagram account to admit he is envious of Liverpool fans following Klopp’s appointment.

Morgan tweeted:

Arsenal host Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
