Arsenal fan Piers Morgan questions Arsene Wenger ahead of Man City clash

Piers Morgan reacts to Leicester City moving five points clear at the top of the Premier League table

Piers Morgan could not help but turn Leicester City’s Premier League title charge into a slight at Arsene Wenger as Arsenal prepare to host Manchester City on Monday night.

The Foxes have been the Premier League’s surprise package this season and continued their remarkable run of form by beating Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon to ensure that they would be top of the table on Christmas Day.

Leicester are currently five points clear of Arsenal head of Monday’s clash at The Emirates.

Celebrity Arsenal fan and shareholder Morgan has never been one to hold back his true sentiments about Gunners boss Wenger, and it seems that the former Daily Mirror editor would be left distraught if Leicester were to go on and win the Premier League title this season.

Morgan tweeted on Saturday evening:

He then went on to underline the importance of Monday night’s showdown at Emirates Stadium.
