Arsenal fan Piers Morgan tells Chelsea supporters to boo Eden Hazard
Piers Morgan takes to Twitter to urge Chelsea fans to express their discontent about Jose Mourinho's sacking at Stamford Bridge
Piers Morgan has taken to social media to urge Chelsea fans to express their discontent at Jose Mourinho’s sacking by chanting his name during Saturday’s game with Sunderland at Stamford Bridge – and to boo Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.
Mourinho was dismissed on Thursday afternoon after the Blues slumped to their ninth Premier League defeat of the season against Leicester City on Monday night.
The Portuguese coach leaves the club languishing in 16th place in the table and just a point above the relegation zone after a disastrous start to their title defence.
Mourinho’s sacking has been met with a mixed reaction from Chelsea fans, with Guus Hiddink expected to now take over at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.
Celebrity Arsenal fan and shareholder Morgan reckons Blues fans should make their views heard when the west London club host Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
Morgan tweeted on Saturday morning:
I hope Chelsea fans chant Mourinho's name loudly today and boo Costa & Hazard equally loudly.
