Arsenal fan Piers Morgan trolls Chelsea on Twitter after latest defeat
Piers Morgan could not help but delight in Chelsea's 2-1 loss to Leicester City on Monday night
Piers Morgan could not help but poke fun at Chelsea after the Blues slumped to their ninth Premier League defeat of the season at Leicester City on Monday night.
The Blues’ stuttering form continued at the King Power Stadium as goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez wrapped up a 2-1 win for Claudio Ranieri’s men, with substitute Loic Remy pulling one back for the visitors in the second half.
The result left Chelsea languishing in 16th place in the Premier League table and just one point above the relegation zone after 16 games of the new season, with the west London club’s title defence in tatters.
Arsenal shareholder and celebrity fan Morgan could not hide his delight at seeing Chelsea slump to yet another disappointing loss on Monday night as he took to Twitter to react to the defeat.
Former Daily Mirror editor Morgan tweeted on Monday evening:
Nobody knows why Chelsea are suddenly so diabolical.
But my God it's hilarious.
