Arsenal fan Piers Morgan trolls Man United after Champions League results

Piers Morgan takes to social media to poke fun at Manchester United after their Champions League elimination

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to poke fun at Manchester United after the Red Devils were left as the only English team to fail to reach the last 16 of the Champions League.

Louis van Gaal’s men slumped to a dramatic 3-2 loss to Wolfsburg on Tuesday night as they were parachuted down into the Europa League after finishing third in their group.

Arsenal produced a scintillating display to beat Olympiacos 3-0 in Athens on Wednesday to book their place in the last-16 draw, while Chelsea also progressed as group winners following their 2-0 win over Porto.

With Manchester City also topping their group, it left United as the only Premier League club to fail to get past the group stage.

And celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan could not help but mock the Red Devils after Wednesday’s set of results.

Morgan tweeted:

Arsenal take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday, while United travel to Leicester City on Monday.
