David Seaman says any club would want Chelsea’s under-fire Jose Mourinho as their manager.
Chelsea slumped to their eighth Premier League defeat of the season after Bournemouth striker Glenn Murray scored a last-ditch winner at Stamford Bridge in Saturday’s late kick-off.
The Blues are two points above the relegation zone after 18th-placed Newcastle United were surprise 2-0 winners against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side at St James’s Park on Sunday.
Mourinho is reported to have the support of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich despite their miserable run in their opening 15 Premier League games.
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Seaman insists any club would be thrilled to have Mourinho as their manager.
“Any other club would love him and there’s not many better!!!!!” Seaman wrote on BreatheSport.
The Blues are in 14th place in the Premier League after their latest setback against the Cherries.
Mourinho’s men host Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday night before a trip to leaders Leicester next Monday.
