Bellerin, Wilshere and more: Arsenal stars react on Twitter to Olympiacos win

Arsenal's stars react on Twitter after the Gunners beat Olympiacos 3-0 to reach the last 16 of the Champions League

Arsenal booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League in style with a superb 3-0 win at Olympiacos on Wednesday night.

Oliver Giroud hit a brilliant hat-trick in Greece to send Arsene Wenger’s men through as runners-up in their group behind Bayern Munich.

Knowing that they needed to win by any scoreline apart from 1-0 or 2-1 in Athens to qualify for the knockout phase, the Gunners took the lead in the 29th minute when Giroud headed home Aaron Ramsey’s cross from close range.

The striker then made it 2-0 four minutes after half-time when he coolly slotted home after neat build-up play from Joel Campbell.

Giroud then completed his hat-trick with a confidently-taken penalty after Omar Elabdellaoui was adjudged to have handled in the box to take his total for the season up to 13.

Wednesday’s dramatic win inevitably prompted plenty of reaction on Twitter from Arsenal’s stars – and here are the best updates from the Gunners from after the game.
