Arsenal urged to buy Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba

Piers Morgan says Arsenal can afford to sign Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba

Piers Morgan says Arsenal can afford to sign Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba in the January transfer window.

The Gunners moved a step closer to the Premier League title on Monday night after a confidence-boosting 2-1 victory over rivals Manchester City at Emirates Stadium.

The north London side are two points behind surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City in the race for the top-flight crown after extending their unbeaten run against the Citizens to four games.

Outspoken Arsenal supporter Morgan believes Arsene Wenger needs to sign two world-class players in the January transfer window to secure the title.

When one of his followers suggested Benzema and Pogba would be dream but unrealistic signings, Morgan claimed that the Gunners have the funds to make two world-class acquisitions.

Benzema has scored 11 goals in La Liga for Real Madrid so far this season.
