Arsene Wenger says Laurent Koscielny and Santi Cazorla could both be available for Arsenal’s clash with Sunderland at The Emirates on Saturday.

The pair both suffered injuries during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.

Koscielny was forced off early on the game after picking up a hip injury, while Cazorla suffered a knee problem late on during the stalemate at Carrow Road.

Arsenal also lost forward Alexis Sanchez to a hamstring injury picked up in the second half of the Premier League clash.

However, Wenger was quoted as saying after the game that he thought that both Cazorla and Koscielny’s injuries were short-term problems.

“Cazorla and Koscielny should be fine for next week,” Wenger was quoted as saying by BBC 606.
