Bastian Schweinsteiger insists that Manchester United are determined to reverse their stuttering form
Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to issue a Manchester United rallying cry as the Red Devils prepare to take on Bournemouth on Saturday evening.
The Germany international will miss the game due to suspension after he was handed a three-game ban in the wake of last week’s goalless draw with West Ham United.
The midfielder could not prevent Louis van Gaal’s men from slipping to a disappointing 3-2 loss to Wolfsburg in the Champions League on Tuesday night as they were dumped out of the competition at the group stage.
United will now look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League ahead of a hectic run of fixtures for the Red Devils.
And Schweinsteiger used his personal Instagram account to reflect on recent events on Friday afternoon.
The midfielder posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “The last days haven’t been easy for us. The #UCL defeat was extremely disappointing. But we will work even harder to make our fans proud again. #mufc”
United are currently fourth in the table and three points behind leaders Leicester City.
