Arsenal defender Calum Chambers reflects on the Gunners's 3-1 win against Sunderland

Calum Chambers hailed a top result for Arsenal after Saturday’s 3-1 win against Sunderland at The Emirates.

The Gunners eased into a first-half lead thanks to Joel Campbell’s second Premier League goal of the season, before Olivier Giroud’s own goal levelled the game before half-time.

But the France international made amends of his error with a second-half goal to put Arsene Wenger’s side in front again before midfielder Aaron Ramsey sealed three points.

Chambers replaced Giroud for the final 10 minutes of the Premier League clash as Wenger sought to see out the victory before Ramsey’s added time goal at The Emirates.

The England defender took to Instagram to hail Arsenal’s top result after a disappointing stalemate with Norwich City last weekend.

Chambers wrote: “Top result and an important 3 points 🙌 #ARSSUN”

Arsenal make the trip to Greek side Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
