Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen admits that he is a keen admirer of Arsenal star Mesut Ozil
Christian Eriksen has revealed that he is a keen admirer of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil and admits that he regularly watched him in action for Real Madrid.
Ozil has been a regular fixture in Arsenal’s first team since arriving at the north London club from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
The World Cup winner has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers in midfield for the Gunners this season and notched up his 12th assist of the campaign in the top flight during Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Sunderland at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old has also scored two goals for Arsene Wenger’s men to help them up to second place in the Premier League table as the hectic festive period looms large.
And Spurs playmaker Eriksen admits that he is a big fan of the Arsenal star.

Eriksen is quoted as saying by Metro: “I used to watch him [Ozil] when I was at Ajax and he was at Real Madrid.
“It’s a joke how good he is.”
Ozil will be expecting to feature when Arsenal travel to Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
