David De Gea sends message to fans ahead of Man United v Norwich
David De Gea insists that he and his Manchester United team-mates are working harder than every on the training pitch
David De Gea has insisted that Manchester United are training harder than ever as they look to reverse their ailing fortunes.
The Red Devils slumped to a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth at the weekend to compound the disappointment of their Champions League exit at the hands of Wolfsburg last week.
Last Saturday’s defeat at Vitality Stadium left Louis van Gaal’s men in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points behind surprise leaders Leicester City heading into this weekend’s clash with Norwich City at Old Trafford.
And as the hectic Premier League schedule approaches, United goalkeeper De Gea insists that he and his team-mates are determined to help turn their recent poor form around.
De Gea told United Review: “We know that the month of December is always a tough one with a lot of fixtures, and the tiredness can build up, so we need to come out of it at the end with a few good results.

“We’re working on it right now. We’re training hard and we’re preparing well so we can go into those games at our highest level of fitness in order to get through December well-placed near the top of the league.”
United have won eight, drawn five and lost three of their 16 Premier League games so far this season.
Van Gaal’s men finished fourth in the Premier League last season but have been parachuted down into the Europa League in the wake of their Champions League exit.
