Dejan Lovren gets his hands dirty in the kitchen after one of his best Liverpool performances
Dejan Lovren indulged in a spot of cooking after one of the centre-half’s best performances for Liverpool.
The Reds started with an unfamiliar centre-half pairing of Lovren and Mamadou Sakho following injury to first-choice defender Martin Skrtel during their 3-0 loss to Watford last weekend.
However, Lovren and Sakho managed to keep Leicester’s in-form duo Riyad Mahrez and James Vardy quiet as Christian Benteke scored a second-half winner for the Merseyside outfit at Anfield.
And Liverpool defender Lovren showed off his culinary skills in the kitchen following their 1-0 victory over Leicester City on Boxing Day ahead of Wednesday night’s trip to Sunderland.
Lovren wrote on his Instagram: “Great win today, well deserved. Time to rest now. Dinner time with my brother 👈🏼 #YNWA #LFC #chefdejan 😜”
Former Liverpool centre-half Jamie Carragher heaped praise on the Croatia international after one of his best performances in a red shirt since his £25m move to Anfield in 2014.
Big 3 points for Liverpool today, Dejan Lovren excellent.
