Former Arsenal man reacts on Twitter to Mesut Ozil’s performance
Danny Karbassiyoon tweets his delight after seeing Mesut Ozil shine for Arsenal against Bournemouth
Danny Karbassiyoon heaped praise on Mesut Ozil after the Arsenal playmaker inspired the Gunners to a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth and back to the top of the Premier League table.
The Germany playmaker was in inspired form for the north London side as he notched up his 16th assist of the season by setting up Gabriel Paulista for Arsenal’s opener at Emirates Stadium.
Ozil then wrapped up the three points for Arsene Wenger’s men when he slotted home from close range after exchanging passes with Olivier Giroud midway through the second half.
The World Cup winner has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers this season and has been a key player for Arsenal to help the north London side up to first place in the table.
And former Arsenal player Karbassiyoon, who is one of Arsenal’s scouts in the US, was thoroughly impressed by what he saw from Ozil on Monday night.
He tweeted:
