The Reds booked their place in the League Cup semi-final in January after a 6-1 victory over Southampton in St Mary’s on Wednesday night.
When you see what he’s doing at Liverpool and the fact that the players have taken it on board so quickly it’s a credit to everyone there
Liverpool have lost just once in 11 games in all competitions since Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers following October’s Merseyside derby.
The 48-year-old former Borussia Dortmund manager masterminded victories at defending champions Chelsea and leaders Manchester City in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder Ince, who scored 17 times in 81 games in all competitions for the Reds, explained why he is impressed with Klopp.
“The style that he plays, pressing high up the park is great to see,” Ince told 888poker.com.
“I know managers have their own style but when you see what he’s doing at Liverpool and the fact that the players have taken it on board so quickly it’s a credit to everyone there.”
Klopp has led Liverpool to sixth place in the Premier League table since 17 October, and a mere six points behind leaders City.
The Reds make the trip to Steve McClaren’s Newcastle United at St James’s Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
