Former Reds manager trolls Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after defeat

Roy Evans saw the funny side of Liverpool's humiliating 3-0 defeat by Watford last weekend

Liverpool supporters were left despairing after a 3-0 loss to Watford last weekend.

But former Reds manager Roy Evans managed to see the funny side of their latest Premier League setback.

The 67-year-old coach was part of Liverpool’s famous boot room before he took over the reins of the club from Graeme Souness between 1994 and 1998.

Liverpool have failed to win the top-flight crown since 1990 and the Reds aren’t close to ending that record any time soon after last Sunday’s humiliating result at Vicarage Road.

And Evans couldn’t resist a joke at Liverpool’s expense following the abject performance in the English capital.

However, Evans may want to double check his stats after Liverpool in fact registered four shots on Heurelho Gomes’s goal during the one-sided result.
