Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista issues a Gunners rallying cry ahead of the visit of Sunderland
Gabriel Paulista says Arsenal are ready to battle for three points ahead of the visit of Sunderland at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
The uncapped Brazil centre-half Gabriel is expected to be drafted into Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up in the absence of injured Laurent Koscielny.
The France international picked up an injury during the north London side’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City at Carrow Road.
However, the former Villarreal man uploaded the above snap and issued a rallying cry ahead of their game against the Black Cats.
Gabriel wrote: “Another big battle today, we are going to get the 3 points. come on gunners!”
The 25-year-old defender has made seven Premier League appearances this season for Wenger’s Arsenal side.
Gabriel moved to the Gunners in a £10m deal from La Liga outfit Villarreal in January 2015.
The Gunners are in fourth place and two points behind current pace-setters Manchester City and Leicester City.
Arsenal played out a goalless draw with Sunderland at The Emirates in the Premier League last season.
