Gabriel Paulista has taken to social media to reveal his delight at scoring his first goal for Arsenal to help fire his side to a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Monday night.

The Brazilian defender headed home Mesut Ozil’s corner to give Arsene Wenger’s men the lead at Emirates Stadium as the Gunners bounced back from their disappointing 4-0 loss at Southampton on Boxing Day.

Ozil then wrapped up the three points for Arsene Wenger’s men when he slotted home from close range to secure the win.

Gabriel started in central defence alongside Per Mertesacker, and the centre-half was thrilled to help Arsenal secure victory in front of their home fans.

Gabriel shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “About last night, very happy with my first goal for @arsenal. Tks @priceyd101 for the great picture. #GabrielisaGunner #OurHouseOurRules”
