Gary Lineker makes a prediction about Theo Walcott's career after football
Theo Walcott hasn’t even hit his footballing peak yet, but Gary Lineker is already tipping the Arsenal striker to become an excellent pundit.
The England international broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute of Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City at The Emirates on Monday after Walcott curled a delicious finish past Joe Hart.
The 26-year-old Englishman is becoming an increasingly important part of Arsene Wenger’s side as the north London outfit attempt to win their first Premier League crown since 2004.
Match Of The Day host Lineker was impressed with the Arsenal striker’s post-match interview on Sky Sports following Monday night’s 2-1 win, tipping Walcott to become an excellent pundit.
I reckon @theowalcott will make a mighty fine pundit one day. Bright, articulate and likeable.
