Liverpool ended Leicester City’s impressive winning run after a 1-0 victory over the Foxes at Anfield on Boxing Day.

Christian Benteke started from the bench before the £32.5m summer signing replaced injured Divock Origi in the first half on Merseyside.

And the Belgium international scored the winner for the Reds as Benteke guided Roberto Firmino’s low cross past Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
