Harry Kane has taken to social media to urge Tottenham Hotspur to victory when they face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The north London club continued their recent good form with a 4-1 thrashing of Monaco in the Europa League on Thursday night in front of their home fans at White Hart Lane.

Kane has been in fine form for the north London club so far this season, scoring eight goals in 15 Premier League games for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

The England international was rested for Thursday’s game by Pochettino and should be fresh when he and his team-mates take on the Magpies at White Hart Lane.

And the Tottenham striker used his personal Instagram account to call for focus from the Lilywhites ahead of Sunday’s clash.

Kane posted the picture above on Friday afternoon and wrote: “Important game on Sunday. We need the 3 points! #coys #training.”
