Harry Kane sends message to Tottenham Hotspur debutant

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane sends a message to Josh Onomah

Harry Kane has sent a message of congratulations to Joshua Onomah after the forward made his Tottenham Hotspur debut in a 4-1 win against Monaco in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Argentina international Erik Lamela scored a first-half hat-trick before Tom Carroll netted a late strike following Stephan El Shaarawy’s consolation for the Ligue 1 side.

The 18-year-old made his first full start at White Hart Lane on Thursday night, much to the delight of Tottenham striker Kane, who is the reigning PFA young player of the year in April.

Onomah earned his first Tottenham appearance in a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League at The Lane last month.

Kane emphasised the importance of Tottenham beating Newcastle United at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

England international Kane has scored nine goals in his last eight games in all competitions.
