Harry Redknapp makes prediction about Arsenal and Liverpool’s seasons
Harry Redknapp assesses both Arsenal and Liverpool's seasons...
Harry Redknapp is convinced that Arsenal have what it takes to win the Premier League this season as they gear up for Monday’s crunch clash with Manchester City at The Emirates.
The Gunners host the Citizens in north London looking to claim victory and lay down a marker ahead of a busy festive schedule in the English top flight.
Arsenal have been touted by many to be genuine title contenders this season as they look to lift the trophy for the first time since their unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to break back into the top four under new manager Jurgen Klopp as the German coach looks to steer the Merseyside outfit to Champions League qualification.
Former Tottenham boss Redknapp feels that the Reds are capable of finishing in the top four, and says that Arsenal and Manchester City will vie for the Premier League title this season.
Speaking on Twitter, Redknapp said: “Liverpool can finish in the top four, but Klopp needs better players to challenge for the title.
“If he gets better players at Liverpool he will be very successful and if he doesn’t get good players then he won’t be successful because the team with the best players at the end of the year will win the league.
“And this year it will be Arsenal or Manchester City…. you have [Sergio] Aguero, [Santi] Cazorla, [Alexis] Sanchez, Yaya Toure, [David] Silva.
“The teams with the best players will be up there again. The teams with not so good players will be in the middle group and the team with the worst players will be in the bottom six.”
