Harry Redknapp is fully expecting Tottenham Hotspur to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season and secure Champions League qualification.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been in good domestic form in recent weeks and have not lost in the top flight since their opening weekend defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Pochettino has been tasked with guiding Spurs back into Europe’s elite club competition for the first time since Redknapp was in charge of the north London side.

Tottenham host Newcastle United at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon as they look to bounce back to winning ways following their 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

Spurs secured an impressive 4-1 win over Monaco in the Europa League on Thursday night – and former Lilywhites boss Redknapp is feeling confident about their chances of finishing in the top four this season.

Redknapp tweeted on Friday:

Spurs are currently fifth in the Premier League table.
