Jan Aage Fjortoft questions Diego Costa’s Chelsea future after night out

Jan Aage Fjortoft ponders whether Chelsea striker Diego Costa will be at defending champions much longer

Jan Aage Fjortoft has questioned Diego Costa’s long-term Blues future after the Chelsea striker was spotted leaving a London nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The Spain international joined his Brazilian team-mates Kenedy and Ramires at Libertine in the English capital ahead of Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth.

According to the report in London Evening Standard, Chelsea were aware of the trio’s plans for Tuesday night and were set to report for training at London Colney on Wednesday morning.

Costa has endured a disappointing start to the season and the 26-year-old dropped to the bench for Chelsea’s goalless draw with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

And Bundesliga expert Fjortoft retweeted London Evening Standard’s story and suggested that Costa could be on his way out of the London club in the near future.

Costa has scored three times in 11 Premier League games for the defending champions this season.
