John Barnes states his prediction for Man United v West Ham

John Barnes is tipping Manchester United to beat West Ham 3-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon

John Barnes is tipping Manchester United to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host West Ham at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Louis van Gaal’s men were held to a 1-1 draw at Leicester City last weekend as they were forced to come from a goal down to earn a point at the King Power Stadium.

That result left United in third place in the Premier League table and one point behind joint leaders Manchester City and Leicester City.

However, former Liverpool forward Barnes is fully expecting the Red Devils to get back to winning ways in front of their home fans at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Barnes wrote on his blog for Titanbet: “West Ham have been a very dangerous team away from home this season, especially against the big clubs, but I do think Manchester United will get the win as they’ve been grinding out results of late and are good at home.

“The goal-scorers [will be] Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.”

United have won six of their last 10 Premier League games, drawing three and losing one.

The Red Devils are looking to build on their fourth-place finish from their first season under new manager Van Gaal.
