Juan Mata has opted not to write his weekly blog, instead choosing to issue a Manchester United rallying cry ahead of Monday evening’s crunch clash with Chelsea.

The Spanish playmaker usually publishes his blog on a Monday morning to reflect on his and Manchester United’s recent form.

However, the midfielder chose not to write anything this week as he and his team-mates gear up for their Premier League showdown with the Blues at Old Trafford.

Juan Mata’s blog entry

This is not the time to write or to read …since so many things have been said in the last few days…

It’s time to stick together and this streak will change, I’m sure of that. Both you and us want the best for the club, and the best way to achieve it is through unity. Thank you for your support.

United have found themselves under intense pressure in recent weeks due to their stuttering form, with Louis van Gaal’s men slumping to a 2-0 loss to Stoke City on Boxing Day.
