Arsene Wenger delivers the latest Arsenal team news ahead of Saturday's trip to Southampton
Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal will have no players back available from injury for the Boxing Day clash at Southampton.
The Gunners are looking to continue their recent good form by beating the Saints after their impressive 2-1 win over Manchester City at Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
Arsenal are without a number of first-team regulars, including the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin.
And the Frenchman has confirmed that no players will be back available for Saturday’s clash with the Saints at St Mary’s.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference at Arsenal’s training ground on Wednesday morning, Wenger said: “We have nobody back for this game [at Southampton]. It will be approximately the same players.”
Latest Arsenal injury update: Players out
Alexis Sanchez (hamstring)
Francis Coquelin (knee)
Santi Cazorla (knee)
Mikel Arteta (calf)
Danny Welbeck (knee)

Wenger also confirmed that Sanchez is on course to return from his hamstring injury in early January.
The Arsenal manager continued: “[Sanchez will be back in] early January.
“We have now not Sanchez but we are lucky that [Theo] Walcott just came back when Sanchez got injured. It’s important we didn’t lose both at the same time.”
