Latest Liverpool injury update: Henderson, Sturridge and more

Jurgen Klopp delivers latest Liverpool injury update ahead of Saturday's game at West Ham United

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Liverpool could be without Joe Allen, James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Divock Origi for their trip to West Ham United on Saturday.

The Reds captain was forced off during Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over his former club Sunderland at Stadium of Light on Wednesday night.

Henderson has only recently returned from a heel and foot injury which caused the midfielder to miss 13 of Liverpool’s 19 Premier League games this season.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference on Thursday afternoon, Klopp discussed the injury problems in his Liverpool squad.

Divock Origi is nursing a hamstring problem which he suffered during a 1-0 victory over Leicester City, whilst James Milner has been sidelined since early December.

Sturridge has been training with the Liverpool squad in recent weeks after he injured his hamstring during a 2-0 defeat by Newcastle United in early December.

Klopp added that Sturridge had a small chance of featuring at Upton Park, but Origi was unlikely to return to first-team action.
