Liverpool transfers: Alberto Moreno’s agent reacts to Real Madrid reports
Alberto Moreno's agent says Liverpool defender would 'feel joy' if Real Madrid were interested
Alberto Moreno would be joyful if Real Madrid made an offer for the Liverpool defender, according to his agent.
The Spain international has established himself as the Reds’s first-choice left-back under new manager Jurgen Klopp over the past six weeks.
Moreno has made 13 Premier League this season and has particularly impressed in recent weeks in victories over Chelsea, Manchester City and Swansea City.
Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is currently in charge at Real Madrid and is looking for a replacement following injury to Marcelo.
And commenting to reports in the British media suggesting that Los Blancos could move for Moreno, the Liverpool star’s agent Javier Moya appeared to suggest that the full-back would be interested.
“If Real Madrid make an offer, it would be a joy for him,” Moya is quoted as saying by TMW.
“If a team like Real Madrid speak with us and Liverpool are satisfied with the operation, they could talk. Regarding January, however, I believe a potential move would be complicated.”
Moreno moved to Liverpool from Sevilla in a £12m deal after helping the La Liga club to win the Europa League.
